US Black and Tan Challenge: Harpoon’s Leviathan Baltic Porter and Leviathan Imperial IPA: I really enjoy both of these beers separately, so I was excited to see what the combination would bring… but unfortunately the two didn’t really mix that well. I could distinctly taste all of caramelly nutty taste of the Baltic Porter and could also distinctly taste the strong hopped IPA, but tasted nothing else really. The two just have such powerful tastes that drowned out any mixing, I guess. So, I’m glad I tried it, but won’t soon do it again. Zach
